Mansi is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in the state of Illinois. She received her Master’s Degree from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. Mansi has a holistic, strength based, and direct therapeutic approach to empower her clients. She helps them build and sustain a meaningful life, in order to create real and lasting change. She recently also received her Certified Eating Disorder Specialist certification from the International Association of Eating Disorders Foundation and is also a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist Supervisor.
Mansi uses Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) as her preferred therapeutic approach. DBT focuses on building healthy coping tools to manage emotion dysregulation which can lead to impulsive behaviors and negatively affect quality of life. DBT's primary focuses are being mindful in day-to-day life, building healthy communication tools, regulating emotions, and identifying skills to manage overwhelming emotions in the moment.
